Rare Vintage Indigo Cotton Boro Futon Cover

A large indigo boro cotton futon cover from the early 20th century, with various mended areas and worn-out parts. This piece reflects the Japanese philosophy of 'mottainai', featuring hand-stitched layers of old cotton. Originally used as a futon cover, it can now be displayed as a wall hanging or repurposed into something new.
