Vintage Indigo Tsutsugaki Cotton Furoshiki

A large three-paneled 'furoshiki' (wrapping cloth) with a 'tsutsugaki' dyed family crest 'mon' from the early 20th century. Tsutsugaki is a Japanese resist dyeing technique that uses rice paste for freehand drawing on cloth. The green color is created by dyeing with indigo and turmeric.

There is a stain about 4cm in size, as shown in the last photo, and some minor spots.
