Vintage Indigo Kasuri Cotton

A vintage indigo 'kasuri' weave cotton, originally a panel from a futon cover, dating back to the early to mid 20th century. Kasuri, the Japanese term for ikat, features a simple check motif with each design spaced 35 cm apart.

It has a slightly coarse feel and is in great condition, ideal for making cushion covers, bags, and other craft projects, or for use as a table runner or wall hanging to decorate your home.
