Women's Tsumugi Silk Obi

A vintage/recycled women's obi in rich burgundy red, made of textured tsumugi silk featuring a botanical pattern with small shibori accents. This type of obi has two patterned sections, one for the front waist and the other for the back, designed for tying in the traditional 'Otaiko' style. 

This obi does not have a stiff interfacing material, so it is quite soft for an obi, making it easier to tie. It could also be used as material for sewing or textile projects.
