Vintage Indigo Tsutsugaki Cotton

A vintage indigo 'tsutsugaki' dyed cotton piece, originally a box-shaped cover for a 'Tansu' Japanese chest of drawers called 'yutan' from the early 20th century. This piece features tsutsugaki resist-dyed family crests.

It is suitable for making cushion covers and bags or incorporate as a garment, as well as other craft projects. You can also use it to decorate your home as a table runner or hanging.
