Antique Indigo Katazome Cotton with Crysanthemum and Bamboo

An antique indigo katazome cotton panel from the early 20th century, featuring chrysanthemum motifs framed within a diamond-shaped bamboo lattice. This particular piece showcases a twisted variation of the design, with a predominance of white, undyed areas over indigo, a style known as jishiro.

Originally part of a futon cover, this piece has aged beautifully, with a softened handle and gentle fading.

It is in good antique condition.
