An antique indigo katazome cotton piece from the early 20th century, featuring a flowing pattern of wagasa (traditional Japanese paper umbrellas) and cherry blossom motifs.
Originally part of a kimono bodice, this hand-loomed cotton has a gently textured surface and a medium to heavy weight. There is a cut measuring approximately 10 cm at the neckline, from its original construction.
