Antique Women's Silk Brocade Maru Obi Pine Tree and Crane

An antique silk brocade Maru obi from the early 20th century, woven with intricate gold and silver threads featuring auspicious motifs. The rich golden-brown base is adorned with small pine trees, bamboo, plum blossoms, and cranes. Maru obi are fully patterned on both sides, making them the most elaborate brocade obi for formal occasions.

This piece is well preserved for its age, though some small areas are a little weak. Due to its delicate nature, it is best suited for decorative purposes.
