Vintage Yellow Obijime Cord Dyed with Kihada

A vintage Japanese obijime cord in a soft pale yellow tone, naturally dyed with kihada (Amur cork tree), a traditional Japanese natural dye.

Obijime are decorative cords worn over the obi to help secure and enhance the kimono ensemble.

This piece appears unused and retains its original paper band. It is in excellent vintage condition.
