A unique pack of indigo cotton pieces, carefully deconstructed from a pair of Momohiki (also known as Matahiki) work pants from the early to mid-20th century. Traditionally worn by workers and craftsmen in Japan, these pants were taken apart for recycling, a common practice in Japan’s textile tradition. Each piece carries the beauty of age, with fading, mends, and natural wear that tell its story.
Please note this is not a complete pair of pants, some parts are missing.
This one-of-a-kind collection is perfect for textile collectors, boro-inspired patchwork, or creating your own unique textile art.
