A vintage four-panel indigo egasuri cotton piece from the mid-20th century, originally used as a futon cover. It features a bold, repeating square motif with strong graphic presence.
Kasuri is the Japanese term for ikat, a resist-dye technique where threads are dyed before weaving. “E” means picture or design, and together “egasuri” refers to pictorial kasuri patterns.
