Vintage Hand-Dyed Shibori Cotton Koshimaki Cloth

A unique vintage shibori cotton textile, hand-dyed in indigo using traditional tie-dye resist techniques. This piece was originally intended as a koshimaki cloth but was never made into or worn as a garment. Koshimaki is a traditional rectangular cloth worn around the waist as an underlayer beneath a kimono.

It is in good vintage condition, with a subtle stain.
