Vintage Heavy Silk Crepe Kimono Fabric with Katazome Chrysanthemum

A vintage heavy silk crepe featuring a katazome dyed chrysanthemum motif in soft blue and cream tones. This piece was carefully unpicked from a women’s kimono and has a rich crepe texture with a substantial weight. The detailed resist-dyed pattern and texture give the fabric depth and character, suitable for garment making, or any other sewing projects.

It is in good vintage condition. Please note that there are small cuts along the selvedge to ease tension in the fabric. These do not affect the main body of the cloth. The fabric may shrink slightly after washing.
