Vintage Indigo Cotton Tube Cloth with Mends

A rare long, narrow tube cloth made of indigo dyed cotton from the early to mid-20th century. Originally, used for storing or covering tools or other items, it could be tied at both ends for carrying. This piece shows a number of areas of wear, beautifully mended with small fabric patches on the inside.

It remains a collectible example of folk textiles, and with care, could still serve as a functional carrying cloth for specific items.
