Vintage Indigo Kasuri Cotton
A vintage indigo kasuri weave cotton piece from the mid-20th century, originally part of a kimono.
Kasuri is a traditional Japanese weaving technique, similar to ikat, where the threads are resist-dyed before weaving to form soft, blurred-edge patterns.
This piece has a soft feel and is ideal for making cushion covers, bags, incorporating into garments, or wearing as a scarf.
It is in good vintage condition, but there is a section with some stains as seen in the last photo.
