Vintage Indigo Kasuri Cotton - San'in Region

A vintage indigo kasuri cotton panel, originally part of a futon cover from the early to mid 20th century. Dyed and woven in the San'in region, along the Sea of Japan coast in western Honshu, this textile features a simple geometric kasuri design in white and pale blue against a deep indigo ground.

The cotton has a soft handle from years of use while retaining a comfortable medium weight, making it suitable for any sewing projects or as a decorative textile for the home, or even worn as a scarf.

It is in good vintage condition with no major flaws.
