Vintage Indigo Kasuri Cotton - San'in Region

A vintage indigo kasuri cotton panel, originally part of a futon cover from the early to mid 20th century. Dyed and woven in the San'in region, along the Sea of Japan coast in western Honshu known for its long tradition of handwoven kasuri textiles, this piece features geometric kasuri motifs in white and pale blue against a deep indigo ground.

The cotton has a soft handle from years of use while retaining a comfortable light to medium weight, making it suitable for any sewing projects or as a decorative textile for the home.

It is in good vintage condition with no major flaws.
