A vintage indigo 'kasuri' weave cotton piece from the early to mid 20th century, originally a part a kimono. Kasuri weave is a traditional weaving method where the threads are dyed before weaving to create intricate patterns, similar to 'ikat'.

It is suitable for making cushion covers and bags, incorporating into garments, or other craft projects such as sashiko stitching.
