Vintage Indigo Koshimaki, Plain and Kasuri Cotton

A vintage indigo koshimaki made from a combination of plain indigo and kasuri cotton. The lower section features a repeating shippō-tsunagi (interlocking circles) motif in black, grey.

Originally worn as a traditional waist wrap, the piece shows visible signs of its former use, including several holes, hand mending and areas of wear, and the ties remain attached.

It can be kept in its original form or repurposed for sewing, patchwork and other textile projects.
