Vintage Indigo Kurume Kasuri Cotton Plum Blossom

A vintage indigo kasuri woven cotton piece from Kurume,  one of the three major kasuri weaving regions in Fukuoka Prefecture, featuring a pretty plum blossom motif from the 20th century. Originally part of a kimono, this fabric has been carefully unpicked and washed for reuse.

Medium in weight, it’s ideal for making cushion covers, bags, or incorporating into garments. It also looks lovely simply displayed on a table or wall.

This piece is in good vintage condition with no major flaws.
