Vintage Indigo Zanshi-Ori Check Cotton

A vintage zanshi-ori cotton fabric, originally a part of a futon cover, featuring a classic check pattern in indigo, mint green , and soft pink tones.

Handwoven using leftover threads (zanshi), including occasional silk threads in the weft, the fabric shows subtle irregularities, gentle slubs, and a textured surface.

It is medium weight with a soft yet slightly crisp handle, and is suitable for sewing projects or interior use. In good vintage condition.
