Vintage Kakishibu Dyed Hemp Mosquito Net Panel

A vintage hemp panel originally from a traditional Japanese kaya (mosquito net), later dyed with kakishibu (fermented persimmon tannin). The warm earthy brown tone beautifully complements the open weave of the hemp, creating a textile with depth, character, and a naturally aged appearance.

This hemp has softened over time and has a gentler hand than most antique kaya hemp.

It is in good vintage condition with no major flaws.
