A vintage Japanese tsumugi silk kimono fabric featuring a woven peony and scrolling foliage design in soft blue against a deep navy ground.

The floral motifs are subtly worked into the weave, giving the design a quiet tonal quality. The tsumugi silk has a lightly textured surface with a soft natural sheen. Medium weight and suitable for clothing, accessories, patchwork and other sewing projects. 

This is an unused vintage kimono fabric roll and is sold by the metre.
