Vintage Black Ro Silk Kimono Bolt

A plain black 'Ro' silk kimono bolt, designed for women's summer formal kimono. 'Ro' fabric is woven using a technique that combines twisted threads and skipped rows, creating a subtle striped effect and a semi-sheer appearance. This bolt has six family crests dyed onto the fabric—four in the middle and two along the selvedge. The crest design is the Japanese 'Myoga' ginger motif. The black color is deep and rich.
