Vintage Shifu Paper Yarn Obi

A vintage red and white striped obi for women's casual kimono, dating to the mid-20th century. This unique piece is woven with white and red paper yarn wrapped in rayon as the weft, and cotton as the warp. It is still wearable as an obi, and also makes a striking decorative runner.

It is in pre-loved condition with some minor spots and blue stains, as shown in the last photo.
