Vintage Women's Black Silk Crepe Haori

A vintage women’s black silk haori, featuring woven floral motifs in gold, silver and lacquer-coated threads. The design includes plum blossom, chrysanthemum and peony, arranged across the back.

The fine silk crepe has a soft handle and elegant drape, with the subtle sheen of the woven threads appearing beautifully against the black ground.

It is in good vintage condition, with some small marks on the lining.

A haori is a traditional Japanese outer garment, similar to a jacket or cardigan, worn over a kimono. It has an open front and a relaxed fit.
