Vintage Women's Fukuro Obi

A vintage women's 'fukuro' obi with chrysanthemums in silver, gold and dusty blue. The obi s in good recycled condition.

Fukuro obi is the most common type of obi worn for formal or semi formal occasions since the 1950s. It is a simplified version of fully patterned Maru obi, usually patterns on two-thirds of the front length with a plain, full-length back.
