Vintage Women's Textured Geometric Design Fukuro Obi

A vintage Japanese women’s fukuro obi featuring a geometric design in rich, subdued shades of burgundy, brown, purple, deep green, blue, and ochre.

The obi has an unusual softly raised, embossed-like texture, giving the geometric motifs a subtle three-dimensional quality. Different traditional geometric patterns are arranged in broad blocks of colour along the length.

The decorative design covers approximately two-thirds of the front length, with a plain section towards one end, while the reverse is plain along the full length. It is in good vintage condition with minimal signs of use.
