Vintage Women's Silk Fukure-ori Obi, Grape Vine Motif

A women’s silk obi crafted using a unique technique called Fukure-ori, a type of weave that combines jacquard and double-layer (warp and weft) weaving to create a softly puffed, embossed texture. The design features an elegant grape vine motif in muted teal blue, with finely cut gold and silver-coated paper threads woven through, adding subtle depth and luminosity.

This piece is in good pre-loved condition, showing light signs of use. Please note that a this type of obi has an approximately 100 cm plain section without the motif.
