Vintage Yukata Cotton Sold By The Metre

A vintage cotton fabric roll for a traditional Japanese casual summer kimono, yukata, featuring playful motifs resembling folded paper shapes, each filled with small seasonal floral patterns. The fabric is chūsen-dyed, a traditional dyeing technique used for yukata that allows the colour to penetrate through both sides of the cloth.

The cotton is lightweight with a slightly crisp hand, typical of yukata fabric.

This roll is uncut, in good vintage condition, and available by the metre.
