Visible Mending Workshop with Asako from Monte Picnic Social Club

Join us for a relaxed and creative Sunday morning workshop at Ziguzagu Textiles.
In this beginner-friendly class, Asako will guide you through simple hand-stitch techniques that bring new life to your favourite garments. You can read more about Asako and her work here.

The workshop includes a short demonstration of basic stitching and repair methods, followed by 1.5–2 hours of hands-on practice with guidance and support. Expect a warm, welcoming atmosphere with time to enjoy morning tea together.

Price: $90 per person

Bring along your own piece of clothing or cloth to repair if you like, but don’t worry, practice fabric, threads, and needles will be provided if you don’t have anything. Maximum of 8 participants for a personal experience.

No sewing experience is required, and every participant will receive a handmade Japanese denim mini tote bag to take home.

We understand plans can change, so cancellations up to 3 days before the workshop are refundable, and after that we can offer a store credit for future workshops or purchases.
