Women's Fukuro Obi

A women's 'fukuro' obi in maroon and plum red with an abstract pattern and a beautiful subtle sheen. The obi is in good recycled condition.

Fukuro obi is the most common type of obi worn for formal or semi formal occasions since the 1950s. It is a simplified version of fully patterned Maru obi, usually patterns on two-thirds of the front length with a plain, full-length back.
